The Cheltenham Festival Begins Today!

10 Mar

The Cheltenham Festival has started today, with the event taking place over the next 4 days. It is one of the biggest horse racing events of the calender, with prize money second only to the Grand National. In 2014, over 230,000 racegoers attended with approximately £250 million wagered in total.

Tony McCoy, who can often be seen wearing MacWet gloves, has announced that he will be retiring at the end of the National Hunt season. Despite being champion jockey twice at Cheltenham, the last time being 1998, many are hoping that he can pull out all the stops and go out with a bang.

Pony rider Claire Baker reviews MacWet gloves!

13 Aug

Image

Pony riding enthusiast Claire Baker has given MacWet gloves a rave review after trying them out in some extreme conditions. She said:

“My MacWet gloves have been thoroughly tested after some rather tropical weather! They maintained their grip on the reins throughout the worst rain I have seen for a long time. They are so comfortable to wear and look great!

I also rode during one of the hottest days of the year and had a school session in a snaffle bridle and a double with leather reins.

Well, I can say I have tried all sorts of different gloves from cheap to expensive and I can confirm that MacWets are the best ever! Grip was maintained throughout and they make it so easy to takes the rein up or let the rein out without it getting stuck!

I really do rate these gloves and I can’t see me buying any other brand again!”

We are delighted for Claire and are pleased that so many people never try another pair of gloves after discovering MacWets!

Photographers ❤ MacWet

5 Apr

Recently, MacWet gloves were tried and tested by one of the top amateur photography magazine’s in the UK – Amateur Photographer.

The magazine was impressed, giving MacWet’s Climatec gloves 4 out of 5 on their tested meter – a fabulous result!

MacWet gloves are loved by photographers, cameramen and filmakers all over the world as they not only offer grip, but dextertity and sensitivity in all weather conditions; meaning that grip is heighted but there is no need to remove the gloves for intricate movements which would normally involve using bare hands.
